– The Couch Series is a music blog that produces weekly videos of different musicians. My job is to sync three or four cameras along with the recorded audio to make a music video.
“Where We Begin” Short Film // October 2014-December 2014 // Assistant Video Editor

KSL-TV // July 2014-October 2014 // Assignment Desk Editor
– I worked as a news filter for KSL-TV by taking tips, calling dispatch, sending out photographers, news trucks, the news helicopter, etc.
– I tuned in satellite and microwave packages to be broadcast on our shows.
– Please note that the only reason I left this job was because I was only allowed to work for one entity of Bonneville Communications and after I was hired on as an editor for the LDS PSD, I had to let my KSL job go.
Go Fast Web // October 2013-December 2013 // Video Editing Intern
– Over my three months with Go Fast, I edited between 25-35 testimonial and promotional videos for companies in Eastern Idaho.
Presentation Practice Center // January 2013-December 2013 // Public Speaking Coach
– I met with students one on one or in small groups to help them feel more comfortable in front of a crowd. I was able to open their eyes to all the different elements that contribute to a memorable presentation like getting the audience involved, using silence as an attention-getting tool, and creating landing lines.
– After tutoring for three months, I was accounting for 25% of the Center’s appointments and I could see my own skills improving. A couple dozen students choose to work exclusively with me throughout their schooling.
Learning Point, Inc. // July 2013-September 2013 // Videography and Media Services Intern
– Along with some light administrative work, I worked primarily as a videographer to develop promotional videos for Learning Point.
– I also did some graphic design and work as a social media curator; designing supervisory ads their Facebook page cover photos and finding articles applicable to the company.
